COVID-19 UPDATES

We appreciate everyone’s hard work and sensitivity during this difficult time. This email is to remind people the importance of following recommendations to keep people safe while serving clients in need. Below are our some of the remote ideas we are utilizing in this process since we are non-essential personal, along with additional information about the state of LTC facilities.

Currently, State guidelines only allow for essential healthcare workers, legal advocates and end of life healthcare workers into Long Term Care settings.  Because of these restrictions ASRPWA recognizes the extra stresses placed on Referral Agencies and our community partners; Assisted Living Communities, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Adult Family Homes and Hospitals while we strive to continue to work within those constraints.

To continue to serve clients we are utilizing virtual tours, phone and visual conferencing (Skype, Zoom.com, Facetime, etc.) to provide the same expert assistance that we always provided.  Specifically for Adult Family Homes, the Executive Director of the Adult Family Home Council, John Ficker affirms, "providers can develop videos, facetime tours or other creative ways to see the home. They should also be mindful of images and videos that capture current residents. Thank you for your assistance in keeping our homes safe and encouraging our homes to be responsible to the current restrictions in place."

Please don’t hesitate to call us for updates on Long Term Care facilities.
